Pokemon Sun And Moon Guide: How To Catch Rare Pokemon Easily

Pokemon Sun and Moon have become an easy favorite, most especially to players who've grown tired of Pokemon GO. The games offer a bunch of features (and a good number of Pokemon), which are yet to be in Niantic's mobile app. One of the best things about the titles is the ability to catch rare creatures -- from Legendary to Shiny Starters to Ultra Beasts, among others. This handy guide will specifically help you do so.

Use QR Codes In Pokemon Sun And Moon

Thanks to the new QR Scanner, which is built specifically for Nintendo's games, players can easily catch creatures. And take note: you can do this even in other Pokemon games. Heck, you don't even need to worry about trading or finding a friend. Each specie has its own QR code that you can scan, so you can fill your Pokedex easily. Once done, you can then easily use it to know the whereabouts of the monster in Alola.

Not just that, every 10 codes you scan in Pokemon Sun and Moon is synonymous to being able to utilize the feature called Island Scan. The latter basically helps players acquire rare Pokemon, most of which are sometimes not available in Alola. Note that in the games, you're only able to do 10 scans a day and a single attempt to catch that particular creature. So, be very wise with your decisions and be equipped with a good strategy.

How To Catch Shiny Pokemon Sun And Moon Starters

Contrary to popular belief, Shiny Starters aren't that difficult to find and capture. We're talking about the starters Litten, Rowlet and Popplio -- all of which in their shining versions. First step is to save your game soon after Tapu Koku helps you at the bridge incident. Next, you must have a conversation with Lillie, who's located at the bottom of the screen. The cutscene will then commence, but you'll know that you already own one when you're able to nickname a starter. If, for instance, you won't receive either of the aforesaid Shiny Starters, you just simply need to do a soft reset. To do the latter, hold down L + R and then press either Select or Start. Repeat the process, and viola, you have yours already!

How To Catch The Pokemon Sun And Moon Ultra Beasts

Have you ever wondered what happened to the Ultra Beasts in Pokemon Sun and Moon once the main storyline is completed? Well, actually you can capture them. In here, the International Police will be your best bud. They'll give you at least 10 Beast Balls for each quest or mission you make. They'll also guide you on where to find these beasts. And that's it, you're on your way to owning them. That's as easy as walking in the park, right?

As for the Legendary creatures in the games, no need to worry. We got you covered still. Here's a guide that will lift your spirits. Be sure to follow the instructions and you're good to go.
