However, a Youtube user was able to record a few off-screen footage, which were more like supply drops.

Previous Call of Duty games had loot boxes that gamers can buy with real money. The loot boxes contain treats like emotes, camos, skins and many other cosmetic upgrades. More controversial merchandise were also included such as enhanced weapons that came with better stats.
The Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare introduction of the feature has made gamers vocal about their displeasure of the entire mechanism. Recently, it has been fine for online games to include micro transactions in their features for as long as they do not have direct effect to the main gameplay. However, Call of Duty series' decision to implement Supply Drop-only for legendary weapons has ignited play to win elements. According to gamers, it is unacceptable for a full-priced game such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare fans are still unaware if supply drops for such weapons will be pushed through. Raven Software, its developer, together with Activision are hinting that they are keeping it limited for the cosmetics, though.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered developer revealed that the update aims to allow a brand new level of customization, which was not made possible in the game series' original franchise in 2007.
