"Lucifer" season 2 may be on its winter break but there is no shortage in spoilers for its upcoming episodes. The midseason finale of the series ended with a huge revelation - Chloe (Lauren German) is and has never been just a puny little human. The apple of Lucifer's (Tom Ellis) eyes is so special that her existence has been orchestrated by God. The newest spoilers reveal Chloe's true nature.

"Lucifer" Season 2: Miracle Baby

Chloe has always been special for Lucifer ever since the beginning of the series. Aside from being the most intriguing human for Lucifer, the devil is unable to bring out Chloe's deepest and darkest desire. One of the things that Lucifer can do is to make humans admit what they truly desire no matter how decadent or taboo. However, this magic trick does not work on Chloe and not for lack of trying on Lucifer's part.

So far in "Lucifer" season 2, the devil is beginning to feel more for Chloe than he ever did for anyone else. Charlotte is toying with this knowledge and she plans to use the human girl to get what she wants. She has plans for Chloe but these things changed when Amenadiel told her one secret - God specifically ordered the angel to bless Chloe's parents with a child. This piece of information made Charlotte realize something that she told Amenadiel that Chloe is not an obstacle but the key to get the angel's wing back and to get everything back.

"Lucifer" Season 2 Spoilers

The teaser for the winter premiere of "Lucifer" season 2 Chloe's life could be in danger and this will make Lucifer worry a lot. Based on the spoilers revealed by showrunner Idry Mordovich, God was the one who granted the couple's wish for a child because he wants to place Chloe in Lucifer's path.

Given the latest revelations, Modrovich prefers to refer to Chloe as the miracle since she is the result of God's handiwork and it is not every day that God orders his angels to give babies to couples who yearn for one. This means that Chloe is definitely special for Lucifer since God designed her to be immune to the devil's charms. As to the exact plan that God has for Lucifer's human love interest, it would be unveiled in upcoming episodes and God could even be the one to tell Lucifer about it.

"Lucifer" season 2 is scheduled to return on Fox on Monday, Jan. 16 at 9 p.m. EST.
