Taylor Swift Says Pre-Super Bowl Concert Is Her Last Show In 2017

Taylor Swift recently just held her pre-Super Bowl concert in Houston, Texas and as usual, the pop star gave the performance of her life. That night, she sang 17 songs, which included “This Is What You Came For” and “Better Man”. She also told the fans that night that it was probably her one and only show in 2017.

A 62,500-square foot club was graced with the presence of the country pop star, Taylor Swift, making all the 9,000 spectators go wild that night. For that performance, she wore a short black Versace dress that fit her well, knowing that she would be going all around the stage performing her best. Her set of songs included two songs that she has not performed live ever before.

Including hits from her pop genre album, “1989”, Swift performed one of her old songs. She performed “You Belong With Me”, her hit song in 2008 because she deemed it was appropriate that it be played that night thanks to the Super Bowl hype. According to Swift, the song featured cheerleaders and bleachers.

Aside from that classic song from Swift, she finally performed “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever”, which was the song she and former One Direction member, Zayn Malik sang for the upcoming movie, “Fifty Shades Darker”. Of course, the fans went crazy but she pointed out that Zayn was not going to appear that night for that live performance. She also performed “Better Man” live for the first time, which is also the only time people heard her sang the song since she wrote the said song for the quartet, Little Big Town.

That night ended in a sad mood though when Swift announced that it was probably her last live show that night. “By coming here tonight, you are essentially attending 100 percent of my tour dates for the year, so thank you,” she said. Taylor ended the announcement asking the crowd to be in the mood for partying even though they were not, just for her. This pre-Super Bowl show by Taylor Swift was called the AT&T Presents 2017 DIRECTV NOW Super Saturday Night Concert.
