‘One Piece' Chapter 858 Spoilers: Caesar Appears; Luffy And Bege's Alliance And Their Plan

The latest chapter of “One Piece” manga finally answers whether Luffy and Gang Bege will team up. The proposed alliance was a joint effort to save Sanji’s family. Aside from that, it was a way for Bege to kill Big Mom.

Luffy and Bege’s Temporary Alliance

In the previous chapter of “One Piece” manga, Jinbe proposed that Luffy, Sanji, and the rest of the Straw Hats Pirates team up with Gang Bege. The shocking plot twist was their last resort to cancel Sanji’s arranged wedding and to save Sanji’s family from being killed by Big Mom. Even if the rest said no, Luffy did not hesitate to take this chance because it was the only thing that could help them in their plan so he decided to meet up with Gang Bege.

In "One Piece" Chapter 858, Luffy and Sanji heads on to Bege’s hideout and even had a bath as requested by Monster Gun Vito. As the discussion for the alliance starts, Caesar appears. Despite his sudden presence, it seems he is onboard the alliance to betray Big Mom and put a stop to the wedding. Since they have all agreed that they do not like Big Mom at all, they have united with that mindset. Luffy and Bege are now devising a plan to raid the wedding tea ceremony and it will be revealed in the next chapter.

Big Mom’s Frustration, Lola’s Story

While Bege, Sanji, and Luffy are discussing the plan to attack Big Mom, the story of one of her daughters was put to light. It was when Nami and Carrot were in the bath that Lola’s twin revealed an earlier wedding blunder. And that this had given Big Mom frustrations of not acquiring a powerful ally.

The prince of Elbaf, Loki once proposed to Lola. Big Mom forced her into the engagement because this meant she would have her hands on Elbaf, the strongest kingdom, and even wipe away the giants. But Lola fled and the wedding never happened, which forced Big Mom to research on gaining the giant’s size instead.
