Since the day that it was released, Pokemon Go has been rolling out several new features on their updates lately. Some of these features bring hype to the old and new fans of the game especially the kind of feature where you can select your desired team. Pokemon Go has three teams listed as to date. They are Mystic, Instinct and Valor which were represented by the primary colors Blue, Yellow and Red respectively. With Mystic and Valor gathering most of the population, it seems like team Instinct was left out in the backseat.

Upon hitting level 5, a player is now eligible to choose their desired team and most of the time, players tend to just chose between Mystic and Valor. Apparently, there are several theories why only a few people would choose team Instinct. According to Forbes, the picking was based on the original game titles of the series namely Red and Blue where Yellow was out of the equation. Another theory said that it was based on aesthetics, yellow was just simply unpleasant.

It was also reported that players are more attracted to the core elements of Fire and Ice while Electricity is not so appealing. Some of the choices were also done based on their favorite starter Pokemon namely Squirtle, Charmander and Bulbasaur. However, there is no team Green representing the grass type Pokemon. By this notion, Instinct is clearly a no fit in here. Spark, team Instinct's leader, was considered as lame by some fans thus he made his way to the meme world.

All these formulated theories apply to some players around the world. It was suggested that Niantic could generate some events to help team Instinct players increase their population and prevent them from feeling left out. One of the game's main goal is to go out, make friends and enjoy. However, you cannot enjoy the game if you cannot even own one gym. In addition, it is not inspiring enough if you're unable to see your team color in your current location. Hopefully, team Instinct's population will increase in the future.
