Pokemon Go Update: Should Niantic Consider Adding Wild Trainer Encounter?

Pokemon Go has been considered as one of the most popular apps as to date. Since the day it was released, majority of the population in each countries around the world are playing the game. However, couple of months have passed, the game losses its hype and the number of active players constantly decreases. Some players argue that the game has become more static and boring due to its lack of exciting features.

According to the report from Otakukart, adding "something" that is enticing for the fans might do the trick. This "something" basically means a new feature that would randomly spawn a wild NPC on the GPS map whenever you go out and catch Pokemon. These trainers could possibly have a Medium to High CP Pokemon depending on the player's current level. This would also subject to bonuses such as in-game items, potions, PokeBalls or even PokeCoins as a reward for beating them.

To be more precise, these trainers could spawn depending on where you are located on the map. For instance, if you are in a forest or grassy and a wild trainer will spawn, this trainer could have bug type Pokemon on his or her line-up, similar to lass and bug catchers found in previous Pokemon games. If this proposed feature would be added, it will be expected to regain the hype of Pokemon Go. However, the longly-awaited Player Battle would be needed for this to work. That means, we could see two new major features to arrive soon.

With the new Medal System, Niantic should add a medal achievement about the number of beaten trainers, which would allow players to gain an XP boost, Candy or rare items like Incense and Lure Modules. In addition, achieving a winning streak could grant players a double reward feature if the streak would not be broken. Lastly, Niantic should add an item that lures NPC to the PokeStop where the player is stationed.

More Pokemon Go updates and feature suggestions coming soon.
