Looks like Sonia Granados is not yet ready to start over again with Nick Pendergrast as "Married At First Sight" Season 4 Episode 12 revealed her thoughts about their current situation. Plus, Sonia's father steps in the picture. Will he cause any trouble for the couple?
In "Married At First Sight" Season 4 Episode 11, Nick seems to have a sudden change of heart as he realized the weight of his actions last time which resulted in Sonia moving out of their house. To recall, Nick lashed out at Sonia following an emotional confrontation and revealed that he is no longer attracted to her.
As things started to cool down, Nick realized that his words and actions might be too harsh. He expressed his regret and asked Sonia for a second chance. However, Sonia's not having it easily. Despite Nick's persistence, Sonia insisted that she wasn't ready to start over after everything he'd done to her.
During the 12th episode of "Married At First Sight" Season 4, Sonia appeared to be more at ease and not angry anymore. In fact, she has been spending more time with Nick recently and talked about their future. However, her decision remains firm. On the other hand, Nick seems to be not satisfied with their current status, saying, "Not living here is not really wholeheartedly." Sonia stood by her decision, saying, "I kind of want to just collect my thoughts and come back when I feel comfortable."
Later on the episode, Sonia brought her dad by to have a chat with Nick, making him really nervous. "I am a little bit nervous about the whole situation," the 32-year-old husband said. "Don't really know what he knows - I'm sure he knows a lot, since they're pretty close. ... But it could go anywhere, this conversation. I have no idea what I'll tell her father."
Sure enough, Sonia's dad doesn't waste time and grilled Nick on the spot. "When you started this marriage, what was your expectation? Like the church says, 'forever.' That's [Sonia's expectation]. Do you come with the same expectations, married forever? Or what?" Sonia's dad asked his nervous son-in-law.
Being anxious and all, Nick fumbled about how he and Sonia did things backwards resulting to them backtracking. Sonia's father did not seem convinced. However, he did say that Nick and Sonia looked like a good couple and that the decision about their relationship is for them to make.
