Star Wars Battlefront 2 Confirms There Will Be No Conquest Game Mode Addition

Upon the confirmation of EA about Star Wars Battlefront 2, fans were swooning to get their hands on fighting within the confines of the popular game for the movie franchise. A lot of fans are already including Star Wars Battlefront 2 within their wishlists, and they are expecting that there will be a lot of exciting features that will be added to the game upon its release in 2017.

One reported feature of the game is its Conquest game mode. This allows players to capture and make strategic points on the map. This mode was not included as a feature in the 2015 Star Wars Battlefront, however fans are still interested to experience this mode in the 2017 version of the game. According to the data that they have collected, there are around 231 people, or 86% of 269 people who are in favor of this mode as per a fan-hosted Twitter poll.

However, associate design director of DICE, Dennis Brannvall, said that the development team will not accommodate it into their other franchise. In addition, Branvall said that they have to learn from a lot of things within the Battlefield franchise, which also has the Conquest game mode that was also made by DICE.

It can however be understood why some Battlefront fans were upset. It can be remembered that Star Wars Battlefront was able to introduce Supremacy mode. On the official website of the game, Brannvall mentioned that the Conquest Mode from Battlefield will excite fans. The director also made an explanation about how DICE made a lot of changes just to improve their formula, but not everyone is in favor of these changes as per the Twitter poll.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 will be coming Fall next year, as reported by Game Rant.
