Samsung Galaxy S3 Sees Price Drops

It being the last day of GITEX 2013 (Gulf Information Technology Exhibition), prices for the Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone are dropping faster than some consumers might be able to catch them, so the rush is on now.

The GITEX Shopper & Consumer Electonics Expo attracts ICT suppliers and retailers to Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Consumers range from IT professionals to those passionate about the tech field to students.

GITEX 2013 started on April 3 at the Dubai World Trade Center and goes on through April 6, so get on those amazing deals for the Samsung Galaxy S3 right away!

According to Emirates, there are those retailers at GITEX who are even  moving "beyond gift vouchers with straight cash back offers."

These "gift vouchers" have to do with there being, on the first day of the convention, vouchers offered by retailers that were worth Dh200 along with the S3.

By the second and third days of GITEX, Emirates says, the Samsung Galaxy S3's price dropped by Dh500.

Other smartphones have been and are being offered at far less costs, too, including the iPhone 5.

"Meanwhile, One Mobile is attracting customers with phones as [low] as Dh46," Emirates says. "The prices of smartphones have dropped down so much that customers can get a low end model for less than Dh300."

On the first day of GITEX, a Samsung Galaxy S3 was Dh2089 but is right now Dh1400 or possibly lower. This represents a drop of Dh689.

"The phone is selling like hot cakes and is currently number one. We are trying to clear the stocks as quickly as possible before the S4 hits the market," General Manager of E-City Mueez Rahman said, as relayed by Emirates.
