Final Fantasy XV's Power Rangers DLC Will Be Delayed

Square Enix had announced that they will delay the upcoming Final Fantasy XV's latest update, in which the game's main characters can suit up with Power Rangers style costume called the Magitek Exosuits.

As Square Enix's fans noticed that the suits look entirely like what the Power Rangers wear, Square Enix realized that they need to redesign the new character's outfits.

The suits, that were supposed to come out this February 21, was said to give characters an ability to be invincible by 30 minutes, as well as enhanced fishing abilities. The suits are available for Noctis, Prompto, Gladiolus, and Ignis.

Speculations were heard by the game's fans that the release of these suits might not happen anymore which made them quite disappointed. However, a lot are still hoping for it to be released along with the upcoming update.

Someone at Saban, or possibly from Lionsgate or Toei, reached out to Square Enix stating that the designs were just too close for comfort. Square Enix made a very quiet note about this as it detailed all of the upcoming DLC.

Also, the publisher of Power Rangers pointed out that the design of the suits might be too similar, so they have to be delayed to a later date in order to revise the design.

Hajime Tabata, the director of Final Fantasy XV said, "They don't look exactly the same, and as for the copyright, even if these are our original designs, it seems like they will cause problems for others," making them change the design of the suits and just release them at a later date.

Final Fantasy XV was released last year and was highly anticipated by Final Fantasy fans. Final Fantasy XV is exclusive on Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The good news was brought by Square Enix to those fans of PC's rather than gaming consoles. Square Enix is already planning to release a PC version of Final Fantasy XV game.
