Samsung Galaxy Win Duos And Galaxy Fame Duos Now Retailing In India, To Cost Rs. 18,300 And Rs. 10,999

Samsung fans have two new smartphones to look forward to as the Korean company's dual-SIM Galaxy Win Duos and Galaxy Fame Duos have been priced at Rs. 18,300 and Rs. 10,999, respectively.

The Galaxy Fame Duos was announced in February along with the Galaxy Young, whereas the Galaxy Win Duos was announced in April. Now per reports, Samsung has begun retailing the Galaxy Win Duos and Galaxy Fame Duos smartphones, both of which offer dual-SIM support with the Always-on feature that forwards call to the other SIM.

"After launching its flagship smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S4, the Korean smartphone has quietly started offering Galaxy Fame duos and Galaxy Win duos in India," reports NDTV.

Retailer Mahesh Telecom took to its Twitter account to reveal the prices for both the smartphones. According to the tweet, the entry-level Galaxy Fame Duos will cost Rs. 10,999 ($203 approximately). On the other hand, the Galaxy Win Duos will retail for more and is priced at Rs. 18,300 (approximately $338).

The Galaxy Fame Duos is also listed on the Samsung India website; however, the price of the smartphone has not been mentioned. The smartphone will be available in white and blue color options. The budget friendly device touts a 3.5-inch display with 480 x 320 pixels resolution. Under the hood, it packs in a 1GHz processor, a 1300mAh battery, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of memory (expandable up to 64GB) and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

The Galaxy Win Duos is 9.65mm thick and weighs 143.9g. The smartphone sports a 4.7-inch TFT display with 800 x 480 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. The Galaxy Win Duos will come pre-loaded with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The smartphone packs in a 2000mAh battery, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of on-board storage (expandable up to 32GB).

With the two Dual-SIM smartphones getting set to make their way to consumers in India, it remains to be seen if the Galaxy Win Duos and Galaxy Fame Duos can replicate the success of other smartphones in Samsung's Galaxy line-up.
