Dota 2 News: Get To Know The New Na’Vi Roster

It's what everyone is waiting for! The return of the CIS legend, Na'Vi!

Today, Na'Vi officially announced that they have signed three new players into their team under a 1-year contract. Now, these three new players aren't new to the competitive scene and you may have heard one as he's been famous for playing several professional teams since Dota 1. So follow us as we reveal Na'Vi 2.0.

Na'Vi New Roster

As stated by the organization, they will be retaining two of their key members namely Danil "Dendi" Ishutin and Viktor "GeneRaL" Nigrini. Based on their announcement, the players will also retain their roles and are not bound on the new 1-year contract per player imposed by the organization. The team is now undergoing soft practice but the intense regiment and bootcamp is expected to commence by January 20th. Here's the full Na'Vi Lineup:

Per Anders Olsson "Pajkatt" Lille

Pajkatt established himself as a professional Dota player way back in 2009 and had played with a number of professional players including Fear, KuroKy and Puppey. Throughout the course of his Dota 2 career, he had been playing under several organizations including EG, LGD, Mousesports and Alliance. He went inactive as a player during 2016 but served as a coach for Digital Chaos. Now, the Swedish player is back and is now ready for his next journey under the Na'Vi banner.

Roman "rmN-" Paley

RmN isn't new in the professional scene as he had partaken in several prominent teams namely: QPAD Red Pandas, Power Rangers and Fantastic Five - to which, his contract was bought. According to Na'Vi's director, rmN has displayed profound skills and potential during the test games which had commenced after the disappointing performance of the former team during the Boston Major Qualifiers.

Malthe "Biver" Winther

Biver has been scouted by the management as well after he was seen to have posed great potential for the squad. The Danish player had been part of several notable teams including London Conspiracy and Prodota Gaming - from which he was transferred to Na'Vi. HarisPilton, the Esports director of Na'Vi has this to say about acquiring Biver: "Regarding the fifth support, unlike Roman and Per, Malthe doesn't have that much experience. Nonetheless, he's open and positive person as well as a reliable player with great micro control. We have no doubts he'll be a great teammate both in game and in day-to-day life."

Fans are excited for the new Na'Vi squad but some of them are hesitating about the new lineup as the track records of the two supports aren't as great as the rest of the team. Until the team s partake in one major tournament, we can only guess for now.

What do you think of the new Na'Vi squad? Will it live the fans' expectations?
