Dota 2 News: EE, PPD And Fans React To GG.Bet Scandal

In the light following the GG.bet scandal, EE and PPD shared their sentiments regarding the issue which has now caused a stir on the internet. Check out the fans' hilarious reactions on both EE and PPD comments which is now making rounds on Reddit and Instagram.

GG.Bet Scandal

Just recently, we reported an alleged scam of the betting site and sponsor of Team NP, GG.bet on its users by adding an inconspicuous rule within their site's Terms and Conditions. To give you a brief summary about the scandal, a user accused GG.bet of blatantly scamming its amateur gamblers by making use of their site's promo codes to gain virtual cash and double their deposited amount but in exchange, the user must be able to acquire 25x the total amount acquired within 30 days, otherwise all of the credits will expire.

In the Live Q&A session of GG.bet, EE commented: "This is exactly why I'm even spending time on this reddit thread. One reddit thread with bullshit in it shouldn't ruin a business," which is of course, true as the recent issue definitely tarnished the image of the betting site. Although his action can be seen as a form of defense to prevent their sponsor from going down, it also justifies the prevalent incidents on Reddit where one unsatisfied customer creates an issue that mars the image of a company/organization.

PPD Reacts

The current GG.bet scandal is already dissipating slowly when PPD stirred the whole issue once again. On a Twitter post, PPD has had a hilarious comment with how EE is protecting GG.bet on Reddit amidst the issue.

Although it was just a pun, it resulted in a backlash as some fans pointed out that the newly appointed CEO of EG was sponsored by Comcast which was recently fined by FCC by a whopping $2.3 million for the alleged shady billing practices.
