Dead By Daylight Survivor Tips And Tricks For Begginers

When playing Dead By Daylight, are you always the first one to die? Did your friends had more time to play the game than you? Want to play with them on Halloween but afraid you might suck? Just take note of our compiled list of tips and tricks on how to survive Dead By Daylight, and you're well on your way to surviving and escaping every single time.

Help Teammates. You ought to rake in more points if you help teammates escape. They'll also be compelled to return the favor back. Sure, you can sneak around until everyone else is dead, but this takes the most points and fun out of the game.

Be Careful When Clumping. When sneaking around with a group or working together in a generator, stay out of each other's way. Especially when the heartbeat starts. When the killer comes, spread out and avoid collision, which might cause a few animation delays to your character.

Keep Your Eye Out For The Hatch. Dead By Daylight's environment changes every game, so at the beginning, keep your eye out for the location of the hatch. Take note of it, as it could be your last resort when you're the last survivor left. It pays to be prepared.

Don't Panic. This applies for every situation, whether you failed a skill check or being chased by the killer. If you're well hidden and spot the killer, stay still and confirm if he's seen you or not. The best case scenario is he walks right past you. When you fail a skill check, walk slowly away, then hide in the shadows. The killer might come or not. Either way, it's best to keep your wits about.

Take Note Of A Sound Cue. Skill checks can be frustrating, but take note of a sound cue that indicates it's coming. This will help you be prepared for it and have more chance to successfully nail it.

Time Rescues. A killer may start camping a hooked prey to make sure no one saves him. Hide from a distance and take advantage of long animations the killer does. Trappers can set up trap beneath your teammate and Wraiths may decide to turn visible or invisible. This is your chance to run and quickly unhook your ally.

Do Not Struggle On The Hook. If you're hooked, don't try to escape by yourself. The chance that you'll be able to do so is very low and struggling will drain your health faster. Wait for a teammate instead.
