'Dance Moms' Season 8 Canceled; Abby Lee Miller Officially Announced Her Resignation After Fierce Nationals

The much-awaited head to head competition of the ALDC Dancers and the so-called Chloe's new dance group just went down at the Fierce Nationals, but a more shocking event happened after the show. Coach Abby Lee Miller of "Dance Moms" announced via social media that she is no longer taking part in any installments of the show. This might be a sad news for the fandom as "Dance Moms" seems to be good as through.

"Dance Moms" season 7B is wrapping with an explosive ending announcement. Abby Lee Miller just recently came back to assist her dancers on the Fierce Nationals on Sunday after being absent for a couple of weeks. The month of March has been full of speculations about when she will flee the show. The ALDC coach though has not made any comments about the issues until now where she just posted on her Instagram the confirmation that everyone might have been waiting for.

Abby wrote a sentimental farewell message on her social media account, making it clear that she will no longer be a part of "Dance Moms." She also pointed out how she was short of appreciation after her six years of efforts of helping out her dancers. Abby Lee Miller also revealed that she has only been used to make the kids popular and seemingly dissed on the producers whom she referred to as "men" on her post. She also shared that she was happy to go against the will of the reality show's production and did a lyrical that seems to be dedicated to the dancers who walked away from her.

With Abby Lee Miller's announcement, the future of "Dance Moms" has become more blurry than it was with her fraud sentencing concerns. Abby previously gave her fans the hope that she will come back after she finishes her punishment from her criminal acts, but it seems that the coach had a change of heart and left her show even before she gets her final sentencing. Rumors have it that Abby will be focusing on her new dance show instead while "Dance Moms" could risk another season with new dance gurus.

Fans are now divided in accepting the news as some believe that the show can still go on without the coach while some others are determined that another season without Abby Lee Miller will bring the lowest rating to "Dance Moms." Lifetime has not yet given a statement about the dance coach's resignation as her decision seems to have only come down after the Fierce Nationals finished.

Her departure though might not be at all that bitter as her ALDC team - both the minis and her hip-hop group - won the second overall best group category and first place in Junior small group during the recently held competition when Chloe and the Junior Elites went down in that award. A more detailed story will be presented to fans when "Dance Moms" season 7B returns which reportedly has the Fierce Nationals as the installment's finale feature.
