The wait for "Outlander" to return to the small screen is almost over with the filming of blocks already finished. The cast and crew now have a clear view on what will go down in the new season and some beans were already spilled about the "Outlander" Season 3 plot.
Within almost a year of putting the "Outlander" Season 3 episodes together, fans were treated to multiple spoilers and theories on what can be expected from the installment. Claire and Jamie's separation has been the highlight of the talks but the fandom is now getting a more solid summary of what can be witnessed in September.
Executive Producer Ronald Moore previously shared some details about the "Outlander" season 3 arc. Moore revealed that the premiere will go back to the time when Jamie and Claire separated and will continue with rediscovering how Claire and Jamie lived their lives apart for 20 years.
The season which is mostly based on Diana Gabaldon's "Voyager" will feature Claire's return to her normal life with Frank. The couple will have to raise Claire's daughter with Jaimie who will become a way for the former to get updates about the love she left in the 18th century.
Although the earlier episodes will not be filled with a romance between Jamie and Claire, it was teased that Brianna will deliver the love with partner, Roger. As expected, a reunion will soon happen with Jamie and Claire but it is said to be not as sweet as fans are imagining.
Updates reveal that Jamie and Claire will take some time to discover if they are still compatible after being separated for two decades. Claire's return to her husband Frank might also take a toll on her relationship with Jamie. However, Caitriona Balfe who plays Claire shared that the episodes will be exciting and that the fans will not be disappointed with the twists and turns that "Outlander" Season 3 has in store.
Meanwhile, "Outlander" season 4 has been confirmed midway the production of season 3. Talks have it that the team is now working on the script of "Outlander" Season 4 which will be based on Diana Gabaldon's "Drums of Autumn." The said installment is said to take the same September release in 2018.
