Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Latest Video Confirms Flagship To Come With Extremely Thin Bezels

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 has been a subject of the several leaks and rumors in the past month. However, a fresh concept video coming from a reliable person hints at extremely thin bottom bezel. The predecessor of this device, Xiaomi Mi Mix was the only one which has started the trend of an all-display panel and considering this new leak, the Mi Mix 2 is also rumored to take things further by sporting even less bezel.

The concept video is designed by Philippe Starck, who has collaborated with Xiaomi on the design of the Mi Mix. The video shows the Mi Mix 2's display from top to bottom. The video on Facebook is labeled as "Mi Mix 2 Conceptual Product Design WIP", with "WIP" letters standing for "work in progress," according to the GSM Arena.

The Concept Video reveals the front display of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 with no bezels on three sides, the bottom of a thin chin and a sensor on the right edge for the front camera. This device looks in the video is just like how it was placed on last year's Xiaomi Mi Mix smartphone, Android Authority reported.

Previous leaks claim that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will be running on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat, and be powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC. The device is said to boast 6GB of RAM. The Mi Mix 2 will sport a bezel-less 6.4-inch QHD display with 1440x2540 pixel resolution. In terms of camera, the flagship is said to come with a 19-megapixel rear camera and a 13-megapixel front camera.

Moreover, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is expected to be launch in three RAM/ storage variants - 4GB/ 128GB, 6GB/ 128GB, and 8GB/ 256GB. The smartphone is expected to boast a 4500mAh battery and will come with a 3D facial recognition feature.

The predecessor of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 was unveiled in October last year, so it wouldn't be long before we see the successor out and about. The device is allegedly going to land in mid-September for a price of CNY 4,999.
