Oppo Find 7 to release in September, to pack in massive 4000mAh battery

Come September, China-based Oppo is gearing up to release the successor of its Oppo Find 5. The next-gen smartphone from the company, dubbed Oppo Find 7, will be an improvement on its predecessor and will tout a powerful 4000mAh battery and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

Oppo it seems has a penchant for odd numbers, so the next-gen smartphone will allegedly be named the Oppo Find 7, and not the Find 6. The Oppo Find 7 is expected to be a powerhouse of a smartphone as revealed by Chinese website RBMen, which has learnt details of the specs.

According to an Android Authority report, "RBMen has come across some more specs for the upcoming next Oppo Find handset, which we already heard is rumoured to be running the brand new Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor."

The Oppo Find 7 will allegedly tout a 5-inch 1920 x 1080p display. The smartphone is speculated to house the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. However, the speed is not known at this juncture.

The device is also expected to pack in 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel primary camera and an impressive 8-megapixel secondary shooter. The NFC-enabled smartphone is also tipped to have a whopping 4,000 mAh battery. Whether the battery will be a removable one is not known.

The Oppo Find 7 will purportedly be 9.9mm thick, making it slightly bigger than the Find 5. The device is rumored to launch in mid-September, but which regions will get the smartphone still remains shrouded in mystery.
