Instagram Tips and Tricks: Using Special Fonts in Your Bio

Instagram these days is all about being creative and expressing yourself. One of the aspects of the app that people might think they can't get creative with is actually their bio. 

While you can easily post some witty quote in your bio, did you know that you can actually change the default font into something more special?

According to an article by Business Insider, it is best to do this while on desktop using LingoJam. 

Here's the step by step guide to changing the font:

1. Go to the LingoJam's fonts for Instagram section. 
2. In the left texbox, either paste your current bio or type in whatever it is you want to change it with
3. A list of options will appear in the right textbox. Browse through the options and copy which one you want to appear on your bio.
4. Open Instagram on your browser and log in
5. Head to your profile and then click "edit profile"
6. Make sure you have selected your font by this stage. Paste the copied text in your bio
7. Click submit

Sharing Music, Movies on Instagram Stories

Ever wondered how your Instagram friends are able to share the songs they are listening to or the movies they are watching on their Instagram Stories? It is actually pretty simple to do. 

According to PC Mag, to share anything you are listening to on Spotify, you simply have to open the app and tap the ellipsis next to the song, artists, or even podcast that you want to share. 

Choose the option to share and then pick Instagram Stories. 

The same process applies to movies and TV series on Netflix you want to share.

Rearranging Filters

Instagram has many cool, creative, and good looking filters you can choose from but like with many things, you simply cannot help but love one over the other. If you do not have the patience to keep scrolling for your favored filters, here is a quick fix. 

According to an article by Hootsuite, this is what you have to do when posting a photo or video:

1. Go to Filter and look for the Manage option
2. Press and hold the three line icon that appears next to each filter. This lets you rearrange the order of the filters available
3. If you want to hide or unhide a filter, simply check or uncheck the circle next to it. 
4. Click Done
