3 iPhone 13 Tips and Tricks To Fix Issues

1. Missing iPhone 13 5G

According to Gotta Be Mobile, 5G connectivity is available on the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. However, it is important to note that the device must be on a 5G-compatible plan.

For those devices that do not have 5G connectivity yet, Gotta Be Mobile explained that iPhone device owners must not consider it as a bug if there are no 5G options in the Cellular section of their phone's Settings app. Only "LTE" and "4G" will appear if this is the case.

To enjoy the benefits that 5G provides, the following steps will be able to help iPhone 13 users utilize the feature.

  1. First, head to the "Settings" icon then choose "Cellular" options.
  2. In the cellular option, locate the "Cellular Data Options." In this tab, users will be able to identify if their device has 5G connectivity.
  3. If the iPhone owner is certain that the device is 5G-covered, turn the airplaine mode on then turn it off. By doing this, the device will refresh its connectivity.

2. iPhone 13 Bluetooth Problems

Aside from the 5G connectivity issue, several iPhone 13 owners are also reporting Bluetooth connectivity issues. The following steps will be able to help people delete the previously connected device.

  1. Head to the "Settings" icon then locate "Bluetooth" option.
  2. In the Bluetooth option, tap the "i" in the circle.
  3. After that, choose "Forget This Device."
  4. Lastly, reconnect to the removed Bluetooth device once again.

3. iPhone 13 FaceID Issues

Pocket-Lint reported that Face ID is a facial-recognition system which was introduced by Apple in 2017 with the iPhone X. For Apple's latest iPhones, including the iPhone 13 mini, 13, 13 Pro, and 13 Pro Max, the technology replaces the company's Touch ID fingerprint scanning system, and it will likely appear on future iPhones as well.

Face ID creates a comprehensive 3D map of the owner's face using a "TrueDepth camera system," which comprises of sensors, cameras, and a dot projector in the notch at the top of the iPhone display. When the user glance at their phone, the system performs a secure authentication check, unlocking the smartphone or authorize a payment swiftly if it recognizes the owner.

Despite the benefit it brings, one of the common iPhone 13 issues is the FaceID.

Gotta Be Mobile advised iPhone owners to make sure that their device must be running the latest version of iOS 15 first.

If the device contains the latest OS but contains glitches, the following steps will be able to help iPhone owners fix the issue.

  1.  On the iPhone 13, head to the "Setting" icon.
  2. In the Settings icon, tap the "Face ID and Passcode."
  3. Lastly, owners must ensure that the Face ID is enabled.
