Genshin Impact 2.7 is rumored to come to players this May.

HoYoverse (previously miHoYo) just recently launched Genshin Impact 2.6 that went live on Wednesday, March 30. However, Genshin fans are already looking forward to the release of the title's version 2.7.

Here's everything players need to know about it.

Genshin Impact 2.7

In Genshin Impact, after Kamisato Ayato was revealed, players will have two new characters to look forward to, Kuki Shinobu and Yelan. It is planned that the two characters will be made available through the gacha banner system in Genshin Impact Version 2.7.

HoYoverse announced the Yelan and Kuki Shinobu art characters through their official Twitter account just before the Genshin Impact 2.6 was out. Genshin is known for this pattern of releases as a way to communicate directly to its loyal user base.

The marketing campaign taking place just before the release of Version 2.6 confirms that both characters will be included in Version 2.7.

According to Dualshockers, Yelan is a completely new five star character with the ability to utilize a Hydro bow while Kuki Shinobi is a four star female ninja that uses Electro and a kunoichi.

In addition, Kuki Shinobi naming follows the same Japanese convention as the majority of Inazuma characters: Kuki is her family name, and Shinobu is her given name. Shinobu is employed by Itto and is a member of the Arataki Gang.

Currently, the release date for the Genshin Impact 2.7 Update is expected to be on Wednesday, May 1. However, this date may be subject to change depending on development time and the decision made by miHoYo.

Furthermore, It is also speculated that in Genshin 2.7, Yelan's banner will be first released and Kuki Shinobu will be in the second half.

According to Genshin, Yelan is "A mysterious person who claims to work for the Ministry of Civil Affairs"

miHoYo also revealed that "Yelan's identity has always been a mystery. Like a phantom, she often appears in various guises at the center of events, and disappears before the storm stops."

Genshin Impact also posted Kuki Shinobu in their official Twitter account.

Genshin Impact Redeem Codes (April 2022)

It has been confirmed from both Sportskeeda and Dexerto that these two Genshin Impact Codes are still valid as of March 29, 2022.

Genshin Impact gives its players numerous redeemable codes to get useful gifts for their adventures; and here are two valid Genshin Impact redeem codes for April 2022:

GENSHINGIFT is a unique code since it is permanent and does not expire. Due to the nature of the Redeem Code, it is likely that the majority of Genshin Impact players have already used it. If the player attempts to rent the Redeem Code, they will receive an error notice or email indicating that they have already used it.

However, the second code awards 60 Primogems and five Adventurer's Experiences to the user. Notably, ZSPDKSC3V8V5 has been available since February 16, 2022. Players should note that this code will soon expire.
