Headaches from eye strains are common complaints a lot has heard and experienced on an everyday encounter. Written below are options on how to change Twitter text size and how to avoid eye strains.

Twitter users who are still using iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus devices have experienced that the social media app has abruptly stopped working.

A report by 9to5Mac has confirmed that the app has indeed stopped working on the aforementioned devices, saying that "While you can still see some tweets on the timeline, pretty much every other part of the app no longer works."

Those looking for a fix to this will simply not find any. This is because Twitter now requires the iOS 14 in order to operate. It should be noted that the that the social media app has dropped support for the iOS 12 in 2021; a decision that has affected those using the iPhone 5s and iPhone 6.

How iPhone 6 Users Have Been Able to Access Twitter Before

According to the report by 9to5Mac, Twitter's decision to drop iOS 12 did not have much impact initially on iPhone 5s and iPhone 6 users simply because they still had full access to the app.

That changed with Twitter's update this week that dropped support for the iOS 13 as well. Because of this the version of Twitter that runs on the iOS 12 will no longer to even be able to load tweets.

9to5Mac has pointed out that iOS 13 users have the option to update to the latest operating system, iOS 15. This is because devices that are  compatible with iOS 13 are also compatible with the iOS 15.

This, however, is not the case for those still on iOS 12 or even older. Per 9to5Mac, the only way users who still have much older operating systems can acess Twitter is via desktop.

Other Twitter News

In other Twitter-related news, it is currently being speculated that Twitter's TweetDeck may become a paid feature in the future.

According to a report by The Verge, a sign up page that is currently in the works has been discovered by a security researcher named Jane Manchun Wong.

"While the page doesn't explicitly say you'll have to pay Twitter to access TweetDeck, companies don't usually advertise 'helps you avoid the thing that makes us money' as a feature of free products," The Verge notes in its report.

It has also been reported here on iTech Post that the social media platform is working on a feature known as "Collaborations." The feature allows users to link a tweet fellow users or even businesses.

The feature is seen as particularly useful for users who want to collaborate on brand ad deals. However, there is no confirmation as of press time as to when this feature will be made available to the public.
