It is undeniable that social media has become a huge part of our lives these days. Technology and social media have helped us connect and spread the news and social consciousness to the people around the world.

However, it is equally undeniable that modern technology and social media platforms have negative effects on us mentally. With that, here are three of the most famous names in Hollywood who hate tech and social media.

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - NOVEMBER 18: Actress Angelina Jolie attends the Los Angeles premiere of MSNBC Films' "Paper & Glue: A JR Project" at Museum Of Tolerance on November 18, 2021 in Los Angeles, California.

Angelina Jolie has continued to be one of the most beautiful faces in the world of acting. Jolie's timeless beauty is not also just about her face, but also about her heart for the advocacies she continues to fight for.

For the longest time, it has always been known that Angelina Jolie and social media do not get along. The A-list actress belongs to Hollywood's list of people that cannot be seen on social media.

According to Business Insider, Angelina Jolie admitted to USA Today in 2011 that she had been exploring "Amazon.com" for the first time and had been overwhelmed by the sheer number of options available. Jolie stated that her brain got too scattered and wires are all going in different directions. This incident made her switch back to catalogs.

Some celebrities' tech capabilities are limited, and the actress herself admitted to it. She had previously acknowledged not understanding how to turn on a computer only a few years prior.

However, in August 2021, the actress finally has her own Instagram account, wherein she shares most of her humanitarian causes. Her first post on the platform was about a letter that was given to her by a teenage girl from Afghanistan.

George Clooney is another actor that joins the celebrities-hate-technology list. Unlike Angelina Jolie, Clooney, until this day, still does not have a social media platform.

One of the most popular names on the American screen, Clooney is an actor, producer, writer, director, and also an advocate.

Since his on-screen debut in 1978, he has gone on to establish himself as one of Hollywood's most desirable A-list leading men.

He is well known for numerous movies such as "Ocean's Eleven," "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind," "Good Night, and Good Luck," "Leatherheads," "The Ides of March," and many more.

The actor has vocally stated his limited interest in both Twitter and Facebook.

However, George Clooney has social media presence even without lifting a finger. Some fans can still see the actor's face online since numerous fan pages do exist.
