The World Digestive Health Day is celebrated, as already mentioned, every year on the exact same day, which is May 29. As you may have already guessed, this day is meant to highlight the importance of gut and digestive health, as well as diseases and other conditions that affect this aspect of your health and body. 

According to an article by Optima Health, "The day itself is run by the World Gastroenterology Organization and marks the start of a year-long worldwide public health campaign."

To celebrate World Digestive Health Day, we put together a list of mobile apps that will help you monitor and best care for your gut and digestive health, especially if you are already experiencing some related health concerns. 

Bowelle 

One of the most common gut and digestive health-related concerns that many people have is known as the Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). According to Healthline, IBS "involves changes in frequency or form of bowel movements and lower abdominal pain."

If you have IBS, Bowelle is one of the apps that you should have on your phone. Per an article by Verywell Health, it can help you track your diet as well as your symptoms. You can likewise use it for other digestive issues that you may be experience. 

It should be noted that Bowelle is only available for iOS users. In fact, you can even integrate the app with Apple Health. 

Cara Care

Another app that can be used by people with different digestive issues is Cara Care. Similar to Bowelle, this app can be used to track food intake and symptoms.

Aside from those, a separate article by Healthline highlights the app's other uses, including monitoring stress, tummy pain, and even poop. You can also use the app to monitor other aspects of your health, such as water intake, sleep, and exercise. 

Cara Clare is available for both iOS and Android devices. 

Poop Tracker Apps 

A big part of gut and digestive health is bowel movement and your poop. In the event that you are noticing some irregularities with your poop, there are actually many iOS and Android apps available that can help you track the size, color, and other details involving your poop. 

As of press time, some of the available poop tracker apps for iOS devices include PCal, Poo Keeper, Crap & Tap, and Poop Tracker. As for Android devices, among the available poop tracker apps are Poop Tracker - Toilet Log, Bowel Movement Analysis, Plop, and Poop Map

Other poop tracker apps that are available for both iOS and Android include Happy Poop and Poop Tracker: Refreshing.
