YouTube has become a pandora's box of sorts for seemingly all kinds of videos and content. Much of these videos and content are music-related, whether it is the music videos of your favorite artists, song covers, or original composition.
A cappella singers and groups can also be found on YouTube and we are going to tell you about a particular group hailing from South Korea. What makes this group different from the rest if that many of their videos feature acapella covers of music from video games, film and TV series soundtracks, and even the sound effects of your favorite devices and streaming services.
MayTree, an A Cappella Group From South Korea
The a cappella group we are talking about is none other than MayTree.
According MayTree's YouTube channel, the group has been around for more than two decades now after being formed in 2000. As a group, they have performed in concerts, TV and radio shows, commericlal music, and more.
"We have been finding ways to make brand-new beautiful sounds with the human voice," MayTree says in its About tab of its YouTube channel.
"Our own unique color comes from our refined arrangements, original pieces, the powerful vocal drum and harmony," the group adds.
MayTree has won a couple of awards through the years, including two gold medals in the jazz and pop choral categories at the 2014 World Choir Games, which was held in Latvia. Most recently, they won second place at the 2018 Moscow A cappella Festival.

As of press time, MayTree has around 4.33 million subscribers on their YouTube channel, which was created in 2014. Their videos have more than 835 million views in total.

Films and TV series
Most of the videos you find in MayTree's YouTube channel involve the soundtracks of movies and TV series, including "Harry Potter," "James Bond," "Stranger Things," and "Squid Game."
MayTree is not limited to just the soundtracks. In fact, they have even done a video on the intro music of different film companies, which is the video above.
Sports
MayTree has also done covers of sports-related music and soundtracks, including the theme of Formula 1, the UEFA Europa League, and the UEFA Champions League.

Video game soundtracks are another favorite of MayTree to feature on their YouTube channel.
Among the video game soundtracks and themes that the group has done videos of include Fruit Ninja, Pokemon, and PUBG.
