Having Trouble Sleeping? Here Are Some Apps That Could Help You Get a Good Night's Sleep Faster

Sleeping is one of humanity's great constants. No matter how much coffee you drink or encouraging songs you listen to, you'll eventually give in to the desire to sleep.

However, for some, sleeping is one of life's great difficulties due to sickness or a drastic change in sleeping habits. As such, lacking or having too much sleep for a prolonged period will be detrimental to your health, per Premier Health.

Here are some apps that could help you sleep better at night easily and quickly.

One of the most accurate sleep trackers on the market, Oura uses a ring that detects body signals through the highly sensitive arteries in your fingers, allowing the app to learn about your heart rate, temperature, and sleep activity, per Good House Keeping

After tracking your daytime and nighttime activities, the app will help you identify what you need to do to sleep better easily and quickly. These include getting more daily exercise, or spending a few extra minutes in mind-clearing mindfulness, like slow, deep breaths, per Web MD.

The app is free to download, but for it to properly function, you'll need to buy the ring mentioned earlier for $299.

BetterSleep: Relax and Sleep

The app also comes with a sleep-inducing program called "Sleep Moves" that feature guided exercises with a pillow to help you enjoy restful sleep, which is approved by health and sleep professionals.

The app is free to download, but it has optional in-app purchases that can further expand the app's capabilities.

You can set the time you want to listen to these soundtracks for as long as 24 hours, if you so wish, according to the app's official website.

Similar to the apps previously mentioned, Slumber: Fall Asleep, Insomnia features a collection of audio tracks that helps you beat insomnia or difficulty in sleeping so you can catch those zzzs quickly.

However, instead of using music or melodies, Slumber uses sleep-inducing stories and meditations designed to put you into a state of deep calm, helping you sleep faster and easier.

You can also add background noise like nature sounds and effects to create the perfect ambiance while you sleep.
