Hisense 7-inch Android 4.2, quad-core tablet for $149, entry-level Sero 7 for $79

Just in time for the back to school season, many manufacturers are lowing the price of their tablets. Hisense is the latest to do so, with its 7-inch tablets costing $79 and $129.

It's that time of the year when kids are heading back to school and want to show up on the first day with a brand new smartphone or tablet. Some generations did this with toys and now, in the digital age, those toys have taken the shape of mobile devices. There's some good news for parents who want to send their kids back to school with a new tablet at an affordable price and some impressive specs.

Hisense announced that it was cutting the prices of its Sero 7 and Sero 7 Pro tablets sold at Walmart. The tablet is aimed for the back to school crowd, but any tablet fan can appreciate some of the high-end specs included with both tablets at very affordable prices. Here's a rundown of the both tablet's specs:

Sero 7 Pro
Hisense Sero 7 PRO has a 7-inch 1280 x 800 High Definition touch screen. The slate is powered by NVIDIA's Tegra 3 quad-core processor and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. Key features -include:
