Wearable Air Conditioners 2022: Beat the Heat Wave With These Wearables That Won't Hurt Your Wallet

The ongoing heat wave experienced in the US, Europe, and East Asia can only be described with synonyms of the word "terrible," and even that is an understatement. According to CNN, 110 million people in 24 states are experiencing temperatures above 90 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit, which is not a joke.

Thanks to these temperatures, the possibility of getting a heat stroke is higher compared to the average American summer, wherein temperatures only go as high as 71.9-degrees Fahrenheit, per Current Results

To help avoid heat stroke, you'll need proper hydration and a way to cool yourself slowly or a way to remain as such when exposed to high temperatures.

Here are some wearable air conditioners that can help you beat the heat:

Jisulife FA12 Portable Neck Fan - $26.99 at Jisulife

Jisulife's portable neck fan is the best of the bunch, and it shows. It provides cool air around your neck without needing blade fans to do so, giving you not only cool air but also the ability to let your hair down while using it, per Jisulife's official website.

It is also lightweight and quiet, weighing only 254 grams, and only has a 25db operating noise level, so you don't have to worry about losing your concentration during work because of the noise it creates.

Aside from being quiet, lightweight, and bladeless, it can keep you cool for 16 hours straight on a full charge. Charging it back up to full is also quick and easy; its battery, which can be fully charged in 3.5 hours once emptied, can be charged through a USB-C cord.

However, this portable aircon is not ideal for workout sessions.

If you're looking for maximum cooling, the TORRAS Coolify portable air conditioner may be the one for you. It has the same features as the Jisulife FA12, but it provides you with 18-degree Fahrenheit air in three seconds, per Torras Life

This performance is only possible thanks to its Ku Peltier Radiator, which feels like an ice pack on your skin once it is switched on.

The battery life of this wearable air conditioner also allows you to enjoy the cool air it provides for two hours longer than what the Jisulife FA12 can, allowing you to enjoy cold air all day long essentially.

However, expect this wearable aircon to be more expensive because of its Ku Peliter Radiator.

The Sweetfull Portable Neck Fan is a good alternative to the Jisulife FA12. It is lightweight, bladeless, and quiet, making noise as low as 40 decibels or lower depending on the speed you wish to use, per its Amazon listing.

Speaking of speeds, it has three options for you to choose from: the first provides a comfortable breeze, while the second lowers the temperature while increasing its strength. Meanwhile, the third option provides cooling wind at its strongest possible airflow.

Furthermore, it has a good battery life, with its battery powering the wearable aircon for four to 16 hours, depending on the setting you're using.

Finally, it comes with a sports fan, providing much-needed cooling air while working out.

The FRSara Neck fan is another alternative to the Jisulife FA12. Although it has a battery that can only last two to eight hours, it provides cooling wind to the entirety of your neck with the aid of fan blades, according to its Amazon page.

The band connecting the portable aircon's two ends is made of food-grade silicone material, making it flexible, strong, and comfortable while preventing sliding.

It can also be used indoors and outdoors, especially when hiking, climbing, and playing sports.
