Whatsapp App Users Now How Two Days After Sending A Message If They Want to Delete It

If you have ever sent an embrassing message to someone in WhatsApp, you may now have extra time to delete it.

WhatsApp is Offering Users an Extra Time to Delete Mesages

Have you sent a very inappropriate text to your employer that was intended for your partner? If you're using WhatsApp, you now have some more time to save face and erase it.

As of today, WhatsApp users now have little more than two days after sending a message to erase it, as opposed to only one hour.

Open up the WhatsApp group or individual conversation where you sent the message to immediately begin utilizing the new feature. To delete anything, make sure to press and hold it, choose "Delete," and then either "Delete for myself" or "Delete for everyone."

Be aware that there is a catch before you start deleting everything: for this to function, all receivers must have the most current version of WhatsApp installed, and you won't really get a notice if the message did not erase.

Even so, this may be a useful addition that gives WhatsApp a little edge over Apple's iMessage instant messaging service. After all, Apple still doesn't provide this feature and won't until its new iPhone, iPad, and Mac operating systems are made available, potentially this autumn.

However, as of right now, users of the iOS 16 beta are only given two minutes to cancel their subscription, and only if the receivers have already downloaded the test version. Which, let's be honest, you can't rely on.

WhatsApp's Next Chatbot Will Inform you What's New

The instant messaging software WhatsApp is always introducing new features, and the most recent one will eventually make it simpler to grasp what has changed on the service. You may now access an official WhatsApp account inside the app, and it will notify you when new features are available. This new feature is presently under development.

This new feature is still in the early stages of development, according to WABetaInfo. The report includes a snapshot of the chatbot's discussion. When you begin the discussion, a message tells you about new features, WhatsApp tactics, and privacy and security suggestions.

Unlike WhatsApp business accounts, you can't reply to these messages. This is a read-only account, so it alerts you to new features and service improvements.

End-to-end encryption will be applied for all messages, yet many people will receive them. You must contact the business another way for WhatsApp support.

You will receive notifications from the company directly when the feature is ready, with a view similar to what is shown in the image above. If you don't want this conversation to appear in your feed, you can stop the chat from contacting you in the future.

This chatbot has characteristics that are comparable to those found in Telegram and Signal, two competing messaging services that notify you of new releases through an official channel.

It is yet unpredictable when this feature will be ready since it is still being developed but it probably won't be for a long. In the meanwhile, some users have started to receive updated rich link previews in their WhatsApp applications in recent days.
