The YouTube channel of a Spanish YouTuber has been banned after he demanded for free food for featuring a bar in a livestream.

Borja Escalona, with 35,500 subscribers on YouTube, is the latest addition to the "Entitled Influencers Hall of Fame."

Escalona demanded for free food, and when the bar declined to give him $2 empanada, he said he would send a $2,500 invoice for promotion, according to Gizmodo. All of these were captured on camera.

Escalona's Livestream Went Wrong

The YouTuber decided to eat at the bar "A Tapa do Barril" in the city of Vigo in northern Spain last week.

During that time, Escalona was doing a livestream for 3,700 fans. He was livestreaming all the free food he could get in the city.

He went into the bar and ask for empanadillas, a type of empanada in Spain. The dish has a "thick and crunchy exterior, and has simple fillings."

He chats with Barril employee named Rebeca, who was attending to him. He gets an empanadilla afterwards. Escalona ate it enjoyably and even talks about the most popular flavors.

However, when he moves to leave, he was told by Rebeca that he has to pay for his food, which costs $2.35, according to Hitech Glitz. This caught Escalona by surprise.

He then tells Rebeca: "Well then, now we have a problem. Then I have to charge you for this promotion that I've just made for you. It's going to be a bit more expensive,"

The employee tells Escalona that he can bring up the matter with her boss.

As the conversation gets heated, the YouTuber said that before taking a bite out of the empanadilla he told the server that he "only eats free things."

In response, Rebeca said that Escalona was told that the bar would not give him free food just because he was doing livestream to his followers.

Escalona still decided to pay eventually but he did this while making disgruntled faces at the camera. Rebeca apologizes, and again asks Escalona to talk with her boss to get the empanadilla for free.

Escalona's Behavior Prompted Outrage in Social Media

The incident didn't stop there as Escalona tells Rebeca that the bar will get an invoice for the promotion that he just did and it will be $2,500. The YouTuber said that his company will send the invoice.

Escalona moves to leave but the employee calls him out for his bad behavior, and tells him that he's threatening her, putting her job in danger.

He asks her if she feels threatened and when she said that she is, he argues that he didn't threat her.

You can watch the entire incident in Escalona's channel. However, it seems that his account has been banned.

When you click a link to the video, the message says: "This video is no longer available because the YouTube account associated with this video has been terminated."

The incident quickly gained attention in Spain. It had gone viral by Monday and became a trending topic on Spanish Twitter.

A lot of social media and YouTube users expressed outrage over the incident. Escalona was condemned for laughing at blue collar workers.

There are even suggestions to restaurants to blacklist Escalona to prevent him from entering their establishments.
