If you're wondering what games will be playable for the SEGA Genesis Mini 2, then worry no more.
The popular game developing company has recently revealed its games roster for the revamped version of its first Mega Drive Mini ahead of its release, per Nintendo Life.
The Sega Genesis Mini 2 is set for release on Oct. 27 in North America, Japan, and Europe on Oct. 27, per Video Games Chronicle.
SEGA Genesis Mini 2 Games Roster Details
SEGA of America has revealed the list of games that would be playable in its Genesis Mini 2 in its announcement on Aug. 19, while also noting that 12 of the games in the list are SEGA CD titles, per Polygon.
These 12 games being SEGA CD titles mean that the CD era of console video gaming will debit on a mini collectible console this fall.
According to Gamespot's report, the 12 SEGA CD titles are:
- Ecco the Dolphin (CD Ver.)
- Ecco: The Tides of Time (CD Ver.)
- Final Fight CD
- Mansion of Hidden Souls
- Night Striker
- Robo Aleste
- Sewer Shark
- Shining Force CD
- Silpheed
- Sonic the Hedgehog CD
- The Ninja Warriors
- Night Trap
Yes. Even Night Trap, the game that became so controversial it led to the creation of the Entertainment Software Rating Board according to The Verge, is included in the list of games playable on the SEGA Genesis Mini 2.

In addition to the 53 games, seven other games will be added as a bonus as they are either new ports or are previously unreleased. These games are:

- VS Puyo Puyo Sun
Of these seven bonus games, only Star Mobile and Devi & Pii are previously unreleased in the past, while the rest of them are new ports to the SEGA Genesis Mini 2.
SEGA Genesis Mini 2 Details
The Genesis Mini 2 is a much more powerful version of the SEGA Genesis Mini, which the company released in 2019. It also has a smaller footprint and an upgraded six-button Fighting Pad 6B controller, per Gizmodo.
The console is being sold exclusively through Amazon Japan for $99.99 plus shipping as it will come directly from Japan - SEGA's headquarters. The console's shipping fee will bring its final price on Amazon Japan to $121.98.
