Google Leaks Point To New Nest Products at the Pixel 7 Event

Google is set to unveil new Nest products.

Yesterday, September 6, Google announced their upcoming event on October 6. The tech company takes this event as an opportunity to introduce its newest devices.

Google released the teaser for the event with the tagline "It's all coming together this fall." Below in the photo is what looks like the recent Pixel phones.

Due to that, the event is expected to release the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro and the Pixel Watch. However, the event is also aiming to launch more products, like the newest Nest products.

Google Nest Products

Google first announced the intention to release a more upgraded version of the Nest products.

According to 9To5Google, the company announced in September of last year that it would be releasing a second-generation wired Nest Doorbell with recording capabilities around the clock.

It is widely believed that Google is working on a Chromecast HD that will be priced relatively lower, and it has been reported that the company is also developing a new Nest WiFi that will support 6E.

Even though the streaming dongle has its own unique branding, all of these products are included in the category of "Connected Home" products that are offered by Nest.

Users of Google Nest or Home speakers or displays are able to do things like access media, manage their tasks, and plan their day using only their voice. This makes life easier for those using these products.

Google is working to improve a wider range of Nest products, including those that allow users to make voice calls, play music, set reminders, and control their TVs and speakers.

Google's Pixel 7 and 7 Pro Leaks

When Google first unveiled the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro a few months ago, it did so in a rather understated manner, releasing only teaser photos of the devices and confirming that they would be equipped with the second-generation Tensor SoC.

According to GSMarena, the Pixel 7 Pro is roughly the same size as the Google Pixel 6 Pro, with measurements of 163.9 x 75.9 x 8.9 mm.

However, it is slightly narrower at 73.2 mm wide, with just 0.1 mm shaved off its thickness. This information was gleaned from the product's specifications.

It is also speculated that the Pixel 7 Pro will have a less intrusive tapering of the edge screen, and that its camera bar and chassis will have a polished finish. This is in contrast to the one on the Pixel 7, which has more of an aluminum alloy look to it.

In addition, some speculators expect that the devices will immediately be open for pre-orders during the event and might ship out in the same month. However, Google has not yet confirmed the shipment dates for the devices.

Google Pixel Event

Google's upcoming event will be the first in-person event for the company after two years of the pandemic. The previous Google launch events, like the Pixel Fall Event in 2021 and the Launch Night In in 2020, have all been broadcast live through a livestream .

In addition to the event that will be held in person in Brooklyn, the company will also maintain its practice of live broadcast streaming beginning on October 6 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time for those individuals who wish to attend the event virtually while the company is holding an event in Brooklyn.

The upcoming flagship phones, wearables, and the Pixel Buds Pro are all showcased in the teaser video for the event that will take place on October 6.
