Apple’s Online Store Is Down as it Prepares Pre-Orders for iPhone 14 Models

The Apple Store is currently down.

Apple seems to be taking its time as it updates all of its online stores worldwide, as it expects an influx of customers wanting to get their hands on their new devices.

Apple recently unveiled to the public all of the gadgets they have been working on. One particular device that users have been waiting for is the newest iPhone 14 models.

If customers try to visit Apple's online store, there is definitely one thing they have in common, all say that pre-orders will begin at 5.00 am PDT.

Apple Store for Pre-Orders

The Apple Store is currently unavailable as the company readies itself for the huge influx of customers expected to buy the iPhone 14.

Apple has been doing 5:00 a.m. pre-orders for the last several years instead of the 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time pre-orders that the company used to have.

Customers will be able to place a pre-order for the most recent iPhone model, which includes the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max, as soon as the website goes live.

The starting prices of the new iPhone lineup are the same as those of the iPhone 13 range, despite the removal of the iPhone mini models that are usually the least expensive option.

Apple will not only open the pre-orders for the iPhone models, but the company will also make the AirPods Pro 2 available at the same time.

The AirPods Pro 2 have been upgraded in almost every way, including better sound quality and noise cancellation that is twice as effective.

In addition, there is also a Transparency Mode that can more intelligently block out loud sounds like sirens and road construction, and new controls that allow users to adjust the volume directly on the device itself.

Furthermore, customers can place orders in the Apple Store beginning at 5 am Pacific Time.

Apple's iPhone 14 Models

Apple has a base model called the iPhone 14 and their newest addition to the lineup is the iPhone 14 Plus.

According to 9To5Google, the iPhone 14 has a main camera sensor that is twice as large as its predecessor and a new front-facing camera that can autofocus and has a wider aperture. Additionally, it also has a processing system called the "Photonic Engine" that improves low-light photographs by a factor of two.

However, the iPhone 14 will compel users to embrace eSIM technology. Another feature these devices will have is the will allow automobile crash detection and emergency SOS.

The 128 GB model of the iPhone 14 starts at $799. The iPhone 14 Plus comes with a display that is 6.7 inches large and has a starting price of $899. Other than that, the iPhone 14 Plus provides the same features as the iPhone 14.

On the other hand, the company also has two more models, the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which bring a lot more changes.

Both devices will be powered by the A16 chip. The A16 chip incorporates a specialized 'Display Engine,' which enables the iPhone 14 Pro to operate in an Always-On mode while consuming an exceptionally minimal amount of power.

In addition, it comes with an improved screen that is capable of producing a brighter image when playing HDR content.

Apple also promises major changes to the camera, including a resolution of 48 megapixels and the ability to simulate an optical magnification of 2 times.

Prices for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will be $999 dollars and $1099 dollars, respectively. Apple stated that the shipments would begin on September 16.
