'Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves' Release Date Leaked in Deleted Epic Games Store Page

Those who are looking to play the PlayStation 5 game on PC may not have to wait any longer.

While Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves may not be an entirely new game for players, many are excited to see it finally come to PC. The collection is a remastered bundle of Naughty Dog's Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and Uncharted: Lost Legacy that first came to the PlayStation 5. Now, PC gamers can get their hands on the games in what's called the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, which is believed to be arriving this October.

According to Engadget, some eagle-eyed fans saw an Epic Games Store listing that showed the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves release date of October 19, which is just a little over a month away. The listing was spotted by Twitter gaming deals curator Wario64, who took screenshots of the listing and added that the game is slated for Steam as well.

What to Expect in October's Release of 'Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves'

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, which is set to arrive on PC on October 19, is a remastered collection of both Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, which was released back in May 2016 to the PlayStation 4, and in January this year for the PlayStation 5, and the standalone expansion Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, which feature improved graphics and other enhancements.

However, Naughty Dog has not made an official announcement on when the bundle is actually arriving on PC, GameRant reported.

The Epic Games Store updated a listing for the anticipated Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves release date, indicating on Friday that it will be coming out on October 19. The listing has since been edited to remove the date. On top of leaking the collection's release date, Epic Games has also hinted at a crossover promotion between Uncharted and Fortnite.

The now-edited Epic Games Store listing revealed that players who pre-order Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection on the store will be able to purchase a Fortnite glider modeled after Sully's seaplane, which will also be added to the Fortnite item shop on November 17 for those who don't pre-order the collection.

Fans Awaiting Actual 'Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves' Release Date

Whether the leaked Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves release date is legit remains to be seen, but all signs point to it being real, as it matches the release date that Steam leaked for the same game a few months ago.

Meanwhile, fans can sit tight and wait for yet another rumored event, this time in the form of a PlayStation Showcase sometime this month. Insiders at Sony said that the company plans to host this event very soon, and fans should expect an announcement for the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection release date for PC during the event.

In August, PlayStation Universe reported that Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves is still on track for a 2022 release, as seen on Sony Interactive Entertainment's newly-launched PlayStation Games On PC website. Uncharted 4 is the last installment that features Nathan Drake as the game's lead character and sees him on an adventure to discover lost pirate treasure.
