Verizon Motorola DROID ULTRA available for $149.99

It's only been a few weeks since Verizon began selling the Motorola DROID ULTRA for $199.99 and Amazon is currently offering it for $149.99

The Verizon Motorola DROID ULTRA follows in the same footsteps as the RAZR series. The device is the thinnest 4G LTE smartphone on the market. It's only 7.18mm thin and is extremely lightweight at 4.94 oz. Its 5-inch scratch-resistant edge-to-edge Super AMOLED display is wrapped in a seamless Kevlar fiber composite unibody case that keeps the phone protected, while also providing a very stylish design.

Some of the DROID ULTRA's highlights include:

Droid Command Center
Keep your world close at hand with this exclusive widget. It provides at-a-glance info about battery level and weather. Use it to quickly get to your alarm clock and control other settings.

Droid Ultra stays ready, even when it's asleep
Control your phone without pushing a single button by using 100 percent hands-free, touchless control. Your Droid Ultra recognizes your voice (and your voice only) and obeys your commands. Your display is always on too, making sure you don't miss a beat. Notifications show up on your screen even when you're not using your phone. The ultra-low-power notification system is easy on the battery, and you can go straight to the corresponding app with your voice or just a simple tap.

Low-light camera and easy-to-manage gallery
Snap high-quality photos, even at night. Droid Ultra has new technology that makes taking photos in low-light settings more efficient than ever. So go ahead: Take a photo of your delicious meal in a dimly lit restaurant and share it with your social networks. Or capture an unforgettable moment out on the town with crystal clarity. Tap anywhere on the screen to quickly grab that shot, and with a simple swipe, you'll be checking out your latest masterpieces and easily sharing them with friends.

The DROID ULTRA features a 5-inch Super AMOLED HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It is powered by Motorola's X8 Mobile Computing System, which uses a 1.7GHz dual-core processor, a quad-core graphics processing unit (GPU), and 2GB of RAM to provide a fast and fluid user experience.

It has 16GB of internal storage, a 10-megapixel rear camera that can record 1080p HD video, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat. Its wireless connectivity capabilities include a 4G LTE radio, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and NFC. The DROID ULTRA is packing a non-removable 2,130 mAh battery that provides up to 28 hours of talk time and up to 13 days of standby time.

You can order the Verizon Motorola DROID ULTRA from Amazon for $149.99 when signing a new 2-year contract. The retailer is also including free two-day shipping with the order.
