7 Casual Games on Steam You Should Try Playing

There are different types of games out there that will test your reflexes and attention to detail. Sometimes, it's better to just relax and play games that aren't so intense. Here are a couple of casual games that won't demand much from you.

1. Unpacking

There's something oddly satisfying about unpacking your items, and then organizing them in the room. There's a sense of accomplishment once you finish the task. With this game, you won't need to break a sweat for shuffling around your place, or lifting heavy boxes.

You can do all those virtually by arranging items in the bedroom, bathroom, or living room. Although, you have to put the objects in the right place, so make sure you do so. 

2. Stardew Valley

The game will let you experience living the simple life of a farmer. It will start as you inherit a farm from your grandfather, and you'll have to build it from the ground up. You're free to decorate it however you like, and that includes your house.

Don't be discouraged by the pixelated graphics, as it has more to offer content-wise. Try it before you deny it!

In the game, you'll fight against other players, and you'll do so as a cute and fluffy animal. There are a lot of options for you. After you choose which animal you want, you will be placed in arenas to complete the objectives.

If you enjoy sandbox games with a bit of violence in them, then maybe you'll enjoy this. There will be human figures that you can shoot and dismember. It's fun to see the army you have to fight walking all flimsy.

The game's premise is all about the flow of water, and how you'll manage it to water crops. It has visuals that are soft on the eyes, and the soundtrack gives of a zen tune that will help you relax.

In the 60 levels within the game, you have to alter the environment to complete the mentioned objective. 

7. Calico

Calico is a simulation game, kind of like Adorable Home. You have to rebuild a cat cafe, and fill it with cute animals. You will get to customize the cafe's furniture and decorations, and even your own character.

The game also offers minigames, like making pastries and beverages for the people in town. The best part is you can interact with the animals in the cafe!
