5 Time Management Apps That Can Help You Work Efficiently

Doing work regardless of where you are is time-consuming and time-demanding. This fact is especially true when you're working from home due to the many chores and obligations you have to do to keep your daily life running as smoothly as possible.

If you're always skipping meals to get work and chores done simultaneously or need something to keep track of the time to remind you what you need to do while working, then you might need a time management app on your phone.

Fortunately, here are some apps you may want to use to help you keep track of what you need to do in your everyday life.

Rize

Rize is more than just a time management app. Although its main function is to help you track and be informed of what you need to do during the day, it also gives you insights on how to improve your productivity, build better habits, and increase your focus.

The app also lets you know how many hours you've worked, how much time you spend context-switching, and which websites distract you the most.

Unfortunately, the app's free version only lets you use its session timer. For you to access all of its features, you either have to pay $14.99 monthly or $9.99 annually, per the app's official website.

Todoist

Todoist is allegedly one of the most comprehensive time management apps on the internet. The app, which was first developed in 2007, allows you to create and track tasks, delegate duties to others, and see everything you need to do at a glance.

It even integrates with other tools you already use to keep you updated on what you need to do for the day.

While the app is available on multiple platforms and offers templates to help you get started quickly, you're going to need to pay $3 per month to get all of the app's features, per the app's official website.

Forest

Forest is not like the other time management apps listed here. Its use of the Pomodoro technique allows you to stay focused by breaking work into chunks with short intervals. To drive the importance of focusing on work, the app comes with a digital tree that either grows or dies depending on how focused you are during work.

Stay focused long enough allows you to grow more trees until you made a forest out of your focus. Interestingly, it even lets you plant real trees the more you spend time focused on work and off your phone.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your point of view,) the app costs $3 to download and install, allowing you to enjoy all of the app's features immediately once you pay for it, per the app's official Apple App Store page.

Remember The Milk

The Remember the Milk app has been around for more than 15 years, and during that time, it became of the most trusted time management apps. It allows you to easily organize tasks either in the app or by sending a short tweet to it. You can even ask Siri or Alexa to do it for you.

What's so good about it is that it is available on almost all platforms, from the web, desktop, and app. It is even available on the Apple Watch.

The app's basic version comes with most of these features, which is already a good deal. However, if you want the full app, you'll need to pay $39.99 annually to do so, per the app's official website.

Notion

Last but not least is Notion, a single-platform time management app that helps you keep your notes and work in one place. The free version lets you collaborate with ten other people in your workspace and talk to them through its integration with Slack, Github, and other similar apps, per the app's official website

It even has a seven-page history of what you did to help you get back on track in case you forget.

You can even use Notion to replace project management and note-taking apps and even spreadsheets. However, the app offers all of its features for $8 per user a month, which is billed annually. If you opt for a monthly subscription you'll pay $2 more per user.
