‘Westworld’ Will Soon Be Available to Watch on Roku and Tubi for Free

"Westworld" has amassed a good fanbase, that's why it was painful for its viewers to see it canceled. To add salt to the wound, HBO Max was no longer showing the series. No matter, as other streaming services are picking it up.

Where You Can Watch It

You can catch the show on the WB TV Series channel, which is coming to both Roku and Tubi. The two streaming services will soon have free, ad-supported streaming (FAST) channels brought by Warner Bros. Discovery.

"Westworld" is not the only show that WBD is saving from HBO Max's list of removed shows and movies. The channel will also feature titles like "Raised by Wolves," The Nevers," and "The Time Traveler's Wife," according to Engadget.

You won't have to wait too long as WB TV Series along with two other shows will start showing on Tubi as early as February 1st. The two previously mentioned channels will focus more on reality and family-friendly shows.

Eleven other channels are also offered by Warner Bros. Discovery, which includes one with baking competitions, classic movies from the late 20th century, and true crime shows, according to reports.

As for Roku, the channels will be made available this spring. Among the premium content that Roku can offer are titles like "The Bachelor," "Cake Boss," "Say Yes to the Dress," and "F-Boy Island," according to its website.

What the Streaming Services Have

Aside from the mentioned films, you'll also have a wide variety of options on both Roku and Tubi. The Roku Channel will soon have around 2,000 hours of on-demand library programming, which will all come from Warner Bros. Discovery's portfolio.

That includes HBO, HBO Max, Discovery Channel, HGTV, Food Network, TLC, Warner Bros. Pictures, Warner Bros. Television, and more. All that can be streamed for free, along with Roku's preexisting 80,000 free movies and programs, and 350 free linear TV channels.

As for Tubi TV, it's important to stress that it is also free. Since it's free, they need to find a way to actually earn in order to get more shows on their roster. That's where ads come in, but honestly, a small price to pay for free TV.

The advertising-based video-on-demand (AVOD) service has around 40,000 titles to offer and is already set to add more from genres like thriller, sci-fi, horror, romance, and adult animation. There are also live TV channels for entertainment, sports, news, and more.

For TV channels, you'll have access to ABC News, NBC News Now, Fox, TMZ, People TV, the NFL Channel, Fox Sports, and MLB. For movies and shows, you can see "Coraline," "Hell's Kitchen," "Training Day," "Malcolm X," and more.

One of the downsides to the free streaming service is that it has no option for 4K Ultra HD. The best resolution they have is Full HD. Even if you are willing to pay for better quality, Tubi does not offer that option, according to Digital Trends.
