Over 2 Million Cosori Air Fryers Recalled Due to Overheating Issues

With the air fryer getting all the hype for its convenience, it's likely that you have one in your home. You should go ahead and check the exact brand and model to make sure that it's not among the recalled Cosori Air Fryers that have been recalled.

Cosori Air Fryer Recall

Certain air fryer models of the Cosorui brand are being recalled due to issues with overheating. Over two million air fryers may get way too hot which can cause overheating, melting, or even catching fire, which could cause injuries.

The company is cooperating with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) with the recalls, as well as Health Canada and Mexico Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor. Cosori is voluntarily recalling and replacing the affected models.

The CPSC has already received 205 reports of the affected products overheating led to melting, and a few cases where it caught fire. 10 incidents resulted in superficial burn injuries, and 23 claimed that the issue caused minor property damage.

As mentioned in Gizmodo, there are around two million Cosori air fryers sold in the US, 250,000 in Canada, and around 21,000 in Mexico. While the company aims to resolve the issue, they are not issuing refunds. Instead, they will be providing replacements for faulty electronics.
