Discounted Macs Up for Purchase

Refurbished products are pre-owned items returned to the store or manufacturer due to defects in the hardware system such as dead pixels in the screen's display, which is why once refurbished and resold, they come at a cheaper price.

Usually, the mentioned products have 15% discounts compared to their original price. The brand-new 14-inch MacBook Pro is priced at $1,999 while the 16-inch MacBook Pro is at $2,499. The cheaper model, the Mac mini, comes at $599.

You can choose to purchase the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models released in January with M2 Pro or M2 Max chips, as mentioned in MacRumors. This gives you a 20% boost in performance, as well as 30% faster graphics than the previous generation.

The laptops will have up to 96 GB of RAM as opposed to the previous 64 GB. Some new features you could be glad about are its support for Wi-Fi 6E, an HDMI 2.0 port that supports an 8K external display, and an extended battery life.

If you're worried about the fact that you're buying a once-defective product, you don't have to. Apple tests the device, as well as inspect its defects, cleans them, and repackages all refurbished items. It also comes with AppleCare+ and a one-year warranty.

For refurbished iOS devices, Apple replaces the battery with replacement parts from the company itself, as well as changes the device's outer shell. All refurbished Apple products will be packed in a new box and shipped free of charge.
