T-Mobile Nexus 5 available online Nov.14 and in-store Nov. 20

T-Mobile has announced that it will begin selling the Nexus 5 online on Nov. 14 and in its retail stores on Nov. 20 for $450.

Google started selling the unlocked Nexus 5 through its online store on Oct. 31 and quickly sold out of its initial supply of the handset. It is currently listing the 16GB model as being available to ship in 3 - 4 weeks. If that's too long of a wait and you're a T-Mobile customer, you'll be happy to know that the carrier has just announced its launch plans for Google's new flagship smartphone.

T-Mobile will begin taking orders for the Nexus 5 online beginning on Nov. 14 and will have it in its retail stores on Nov. 20. The carrier will be charging $41.99 down with 24 equal monthly payments of $17 with the T-Mobile Simple Choice Plan, or $450 in full.

The Nexus 5 features a 4.95-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display with a pixel density of 445 pixels-per-inch (ppi) and is the first device to run Google's latest version of its popular OS, Android 4.4 KitKat. The smartphone is powered by a powerful 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit (GPU) and 2GB of RAM.

The Nexus 5 ships with a high-end 8-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and improved HDR+ mode, as well as a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat and the ability to record 30FPS 1080p video. The smartphone's wireless capabilities include a 4G LTE radio, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/nc, Bluetooth 4.0 with Bluetooth 4.0 LE abilities, NFC, and GPS. The Nexus 5 comes with 16GB of internal storage and uses a 2,300mAh battery, which Google claims will provide up to 13 hours of talk time. The handset supports wireless charging out of the box with a compatible charger sold separately. Its measurements are 69.17mm wide, 137.84mm tall, and 8.59mm thick and weighs in at 130g.

Interested customers can purchase the T-Mobile Nexus 5 online on Nov. 14 and in retail stores and select dealers on Nov. 20.
