Tesla Introduces Cybertruck

Tesla CEO, Elon Musk first introduced the build in 2019, during which the armored glass cracked during a demonstration.

The company was initially aiming to schedule production and delivery by 2021 but the production was delayed several times.

According to Tesla, the long delay was due to shortages in sourcing components. However, in January 2022, a whistleblower leaked documents that showed that Telsa is having problem with "serious breaking, powertrain, suspension, sealing, and structural issues."

Tesla's Promise With Cybertruck

Elektrek reported that Cybertruck has over 1.5 million reservations, as of November 2022.

The truck was originally estimated to start at $39,900 for single motor and rear-wheel drive model. However, the model is now expected to start at $50,000 up to $70,000.

Tesla often changes prices in the middle of model year so interested buyers should expect an increase before the end of 2023.
