Bing Chat's Expansion To Chrome, Safari

In a response to TechCrunch, Microsoft confirmed that they opened the gates to select users of Chrome and Safari.

"We are excited to expand access to even more users once our standard testing procedures are complete," Microsoft's director of communications, Caitlin Roulston responded.

Users who gained access to the AI have reportedly received a pop-up notification in their taskbar. Regardless, users can also go to Bing.com and click "Chat" to try it.

In addition, Bing Chat is also testing a native dark theme for other browsers, although the availability is very selective.

Bing AI Chatbot Features

Despite being powered by OpenAI's GPT-4 model, testers have reported some comparisons from the original version.

In Chrome, the chat only supports five messages per conversation compared to 30 allowed messages in Edge. Additionally, the word count in Chrome is until 2,000 instead of 3,000 as supported by Edge.

As of now, Microsoft have yet to confirm other details aside from its tests to other browsers.
