AI Technology Fuels Cybercrime

One of the unregulated domain of Open Source is the OpenAI's ChatGPT, which is suspected to enable cybercrime sprees.

According to Tech Co, anyone knowledgeable can train a large language model (LLM) to create chatbots that will serve as a platform to launch phishing attacks, coding malware, and spreading misinformation.

Another threat is how some AI's are used to generate phishing emails. Last July, a ChatGPT alternative resurfaced the internet called, WormGPT, that aims to assist cybercriminal activities.

Security Concerns Amid AI Popularity

The FBI emphasized that AI will bring more security concerns in the following years to come. In fact, AI generated photos or deepfakes are now one of the biggest concern among the AI world.
