Anker Introduces 240W Desktop USB-C Charge, Dockable Battery Bank

Anker announced its updated USB-C power adapter lineup, including the new Prime desktop 240W charger. 

The Anker Prime Series include a new 67W, 100W, and 240W USB-C chargers, 250W power bank with a 100W wireless charging base. In addition, Anker also released its Reserve Power Bank with 60,000 mAH battery.

Anker Prime 240W GaN Desktop Charger

Anker emphasized that the new Prime desktop 240W charger can fast-charge two MacBook Pro laptops simultaneously. The device is able to deliver 140W of charging on one port while the other ports will share 100W. You can get one of this by pre-ordering on Amazon or buying directly from Anker for $199.99. 

Moreover, provided with four ports, four devices can simultaneously charge with a maximum output of 240W. To keep things safe, the device is equipped with ActiveShield 2.0, which monitors the temperature of the device, ensuring optimal charging performance. 

The new desktop charger also promotes "less hassle, more productivity" by promising a neat workspace. Once you buy the charge, a detachable base is included in the purchase helps keeping the cords tidy on your desk, wherever you are. 

Anker Updates PowerCore 24K Battery Bank 

Anker also gave an upgrade to its PowerCore 24 battery bank, making it a 27,650 mAh pack. Powered by PD 3.1 technology, this power bank can charge a 16" MacBook Pro up to 50 percent battery charge within 28 minutes. 

This 250W battery bank connects with the Anker app for easier tracking through sound alerts, real-time stats, and optimize the device's battery life using smart charging. 

The battery bank is now available in Amazon for pre-order, as well in Anker for $179.99. Unlike the Prime desktop 240W, the charging base for the battery bank is sold separately for $69.99.
