5 Taylor Swift Album to Stream While Waiting for 1989 TV

Taylor Swift announced early August that she will be releasing her next re-recorded album, 1989 (Taylor's Version), on October 27. For Swifties, two months is a long time of waiting. Fortunately, you can still stream and sing at the top of your lungs with some of Taylor Swift-owned albums.

'Fearless (Taylor's Version)'

"Fearless" was initially released by Swift in 2008 while the re-recorded album was released last 2021. Swift written and produced the songs as a country pop album featuring acoustic guitar, banjos, and more. 

Listening to the album gives a nostalgic feeling with songs like "Love Story," "You Belong With Me," and "Fearless." In addition, Swift started inserting From The Vault tracks such as "Mr. Perfectly Fine," "Bye Bye Baby," "That's When," and more. 

'Red (Taylor's Version)'

"Red" was initially released by Swift in 2012 with the re-recorded album released last 2021. Continuing with country pop style with a hint of rock, Swift managed to produce a full of heartbreak hit songs within the album. 

Feeling broken hearted? Why not try jamming with "I Almost Do," "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," and "I Knew You Were Trouble." For the re-record, Swift also fulfilled her fans' wish when she unveiled the "All Too Well (10 Minute Version)" which captivated all of her fans. 

'Speak Now (Taylor's Version)'

"Speak Now" was originally released in 2010 and was written by Swift while promoting her "Fearless" album. The re-recorded session was recently released in July. The album was a combination of pop, rock, and country music which embodied Swift's early discography. 

A wave of nostalgia and daydream will be felt once you listen to songs like "Back To December," "Dear John," and "Enchanted." Swift also surprised the fans with unexpected collaborations for her vault tracks which featured Hayley Williams of Paramore and the band Fall Out Boy. 

'Lover'

"Lover" is Swift's first album after separating from Big Machine Records in 2019. Packed with love songs and heartaches, Swift took her fans into a new world by combining bubblegum pop and electro pop music. 

In addition, "Lover" does not only refers to Swift's relationship with her then-boyfriend Joe Alwyn but rather her love for everybody in her life such as her friends with "You Need To Calm Down" or her love for her mom with "Soon You'll Get Better." 

'Folklore'

"Folklore" was a blessing in disguise during the pandemic when Swift suddenly released a new album despite the global isolation. Many fans were shocked on the stark difference of the album compared to Swift's previous ones. It dabbled into indie folk and ballads which something that is kind of new to Swifties. 

Swift also made a good storyline within "betty," "cardigan," and "august" which featured a love triangle between fictional characters. Fans became obsessed with theories and formulating speculations based on Swift's lyrics between the three songs.
