AMC Shows in Max

Despite having its own streaming service, AMC+, AMC Networks chose to partner with Max in order to gain more audience. According to reports, AMC+ have been struggling to place itself among other streaming services available. The company had to layoff employees last year after failing to reach revenues.

The AMC shows will be shown in Max under the "AMC+ Picks on Max" tab on the app. Meredith Gertler, executive VP for global content strategy, planning, and analysis, explained that the collaboration will set an "excellent example of how we can use innovative strategies to add value to our content offering."

Some of the revealed AMC shows that will join Max are: "Killing Eve," "Fear of the Walking Dead," "Ride with Norman Reedus," and more. Meanwhile,  AMC hit shows like "Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul" are both already licensed to be shown on Netflix.
