The recently concluded Nintendo Direct has been a treat for fans of Princess Peach as more details have been revealed for the upcoming game featuring the princess.
The game, which is titled Princess Peach: Showtime!, is expected to be released next year. It will be playable on the Nintendo Switch.
Princess Peach: Showtime! will only be the second game where the beloved princess gets a starring role. This is despite the fact that she has been a playable Mario character since the 1980s.
What We Know About Princess Peach: Showtime!
According to a report by The Verge, "Peach will be able to put on different outfits to transform into new versions of Peach with different powers, like Detective Peach and Kung-Fu Peach."
It is a single system game, according to Nintendo, which means that it is a one player-only game. The action-adventure game supports TV mode, Tabletop mode, and Handheld mode, and it has a game file size of 8 GB.
This is the second Nintendo game wherein Princess Peach gets a starring role. The first ever game she had a starring role in is Super Princess Peach, which was released for the Nintendo DS.

Princess Peach: Showtime! Release Date
The story begins with the titular character herself as well as some Toads, who are on their way to the Sparkle Theater to watch a play. However, But before it even begins, the wicked Grape and the Sour Bunch interrupt and end up ruining the show. Now, it is up to Peach and the theater guardian, Stella, to stop her.
