Ubisoft Reveals Assassin’s Creed Mirage PC Requirements

Assassin's Creed Mirage is still playable for mid-tier PCs.

Ubisoft recently revealed the various system requirements needed for PC gamers to play the game developer's latest entry to its Assassin's Creed franchise - requirements that are surprisingly reasonable given the game's detail.

Ubisoft set Assassin's Creed Mirage's release date on Oct. 5 - a week earlier than its original release date of Oct. 12.

Assassin's Creed Mirage PC Requirements

Assassin's Creed Mirage is on the way, but while console gamers can just wait for its release date, PC gamers have their work cut out for them. Apart from waiting for the game's release, PC gamers must make sure their PC can run at their desired quality - they have to update their hardware if they want to play the game if they don't even meet the minimum requirements (or risk damaging their PC).

Thankfully, Ubisoft has revealed Mirage's various system requirements that PC gamers must satisfy two weeks ahead of its Oct. 5 release date. Here are the following system requirements PC gamers must have to run the game:

Minimum (Low Preset - 1080p @ 30fps):

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K (Intel Core i5-8400 for Intel Arc with ReBAR)/AMD Ryzen 5 1600
  • GPU: Intel Arc A380 6GB/NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB/AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB

Recommended (High Preset - 1080p @60fps):

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K/AMD Ryzen 5 3600

Enthusiast (High Preset - 1440p [2K] @ 60fps):

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-9700K/AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
  • GPU: Intel Arc A770 8GB/ NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 8GB/AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB

Ultra (2160p [4K] @ 60 fps):

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-11600K/AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 3080 10GB/AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT 16GB

All presets require PC gamers to have Windows 10/11 as their OS, 40GB of SSD storage, and DirectX 12. With these requirements in mind, popular PC gaming publication PC Gamer found these system requirements reasonable for PC gamers who own mid-tier or budget-friendly PCs.

The publication cited the hardware survey Steam conducted in August as the basis for its judgment. Steam's survey dictates that nearly every PC gamer meets Mirage's minimum system requirements and that most PC gamers meet or far exceed Mirage's required GPU for its recommended system requirement - the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti.

Assassin's Creed Mirage Additional Features

Interestingly, Ubisoft developed Mirage to have an uncapped frame rate, the ability to recognize inputs from keyboard, mouse, and controller (or other inputs), and multi-monitor and widescreen support. Additionally, PC gamers can capitalize on Intel's AI-assisted XeSS Super Sampling to upscale the game's resolution while enabling hardware to display more fps and use MSI's Mystic Light products to synchronize ambient lighting with the game's action.

PC gamers interested in a unique experience while playing Mirage can also experience upper-body haptic feedback with the OWO Haptic Gaming System vest (which is also supported on consoles). The vest allows PC gamers to feel in-game impacts, wind, and damage; it could make you feel like a real modern-day Animus user.
